myCofE

myDiocese (now called myCofE) was the first iPhone application for Church of England Dioceses. It enabled them to share their news and events information with iPhone users. The app also featured faith and community resources to enable users to find their local parish church and get involved in their local Christian community.

The app was conceived in conjunction with the Diocese of Guildford and developed by Chapel Studios. The app was relaunched on the 25th February 2011 as myCofE, extending its role further by enabling any Anglican organisation to become involved and use the platform for spreading their news.

Currently the app features news from 27 Church of England Dioceses, the Archbishops' Council, and the Church Mission Society (CMS). Any organisation that would like to get involved in the project should contact the developers, Chapel Studios, for more information: enquiries@chapel-studios.co.uk
